project story

Project Overview

The Digital Skills Workshop provides practical training in basic computer skills, digital communication, office tools, and online safety. Participants also learn basic medical topics, including health, hygiene, prevention, and first aid. These skills prepare them for work, education, and everyday life.

Why

This Project

Matters

Students participated in practical computer workshops where they learned essential digital skills, helping prepare them for future educational and career opportunities.

Protecting Vulnerable Users Online

Navigating the internet safely requires critical thinking and awareness of digital risks. The training teaches participants how to protect their personal data, spot scams, and interact securely in the online world.

Promoting Digital & Economic Inclusion

Lack of access to digital training exacerbates social inequality. Providing free, quality tech education enables underrepresented groups to access online financial services, government tools, and remote educational opportunities.

Enhancing Employability in a Tech-Driven Market

As workplaces digitize, basic computer literacy has become a fundamental requirement for most jobs. Equipping individuals with modern digital skills significantly increases their chances of securing stable, higher-paying employment

Project Objectives

Establish Community Computer Labs

Set up 3 sustainable, fully equipped digital training hubs with high-speed internet access to allow community members to practice and learn beyond workshop hours.

Increase Job Readiness & Placement Potential

Ensure that at least 75% of adult participants complete practical portfolio projects and gain resume-ready skills tailored to entry-level administrative and digital roles.

Deliver Hands-On Digital Training

Host 15 interactive cohort-based workshops over 12 months, training over 1,100 total participants in basic computer operations, internet usage, and essential software application skills.
